Anyway, enough about my personal life. I've finally came to the decision to move my website to a new domain. BUT the move isn't going to be for another half a year. xD This domain Heaven-Purity.NET expires in August 2010. About two months before it expires, I'm going to prepare for the move. (: I'm in the process of purchasing the domain to save it, and I think I'm going to stick to that name because it's more professional compared to Heaven-Purity. Also another reason why I want to purchase a new domain by myself and for myself is because this domain was a gift from an ex. and when that didn't work out, my next boyfriend wanted to purchase a new domain for me too to replace this one... and that didn't work out either. So I decided, I want to leave all the past memories under this domain behind me, and start fresh with a new name for myself and it'll be dedicated to my family instead of some boy.

Besides a new site, I was working on a MapleStory Portfolio which was dedicated to my ex for our 1 year anniversary. Click here to view it : Faithful. I think I'm going to make a bunch of changes on that too whenever I find time.

Due to the fact I know I'm going to be moving my site in the next year, I'm not planning to add anymore designs/layouts until then. The only graphical update I'll be making from now til then will be PNGs.

I really like this layout. I got the PNG from Demeter at Bullets Lie, who was once known as Cruxis and also a former affiliate of HP. I'm unsure of what series it's from but the image really caught my eye and I decided to design HP .v4 with it. I designed this layout with a mix of dark blue and purple and it came out pretty nice. I also made a button to match this layout and maybe an icon later on. Tell me what you guys think of the new layout. :]

The reason why I said I was going to take a hiatus and won't update until December in my last update was because I was debating whether or not I should change domain names. But something life changing happened to me and I decided not to change my domain name because I have so many memories with this name and I don't want to forget them.

Anyway, getting to the updates!

Update List:

It's not as much as I had hoped to add in this update, but I'm pretty excited and proud of my new divider layout. I noticed the last time I made a premade layout was over a year ago! I'm hoping to find more time to add more layouts and add table layouts soon too.

I added two new PNGs both from the anime Mizuiro. I was going to extract more but I got tired and lazy.

I designed a new 404 error page for HP so that every time someone accidentally comes across a non-existing page on HP, they'll get a prettier page and a link back to the home page. ^^ I was also going to add a frameset preview to all my layouts, but I was having issues with it and decided not to add it.

I'm going to try to be more active with my site and visit my link exchanges and affiliates more often. Enjoy~ :]

Edit [10.11.09]: I figured out how to make RSS Feeds. I added the RSS Feed button to my site so it should appear at the top of everyone's browser. ^^ I like using RSS feeds to keep me up to date on link exchanges / affiliates news. :]

Edit [10.14.09]: HP has some new link exchanges! I thought to plug them now since I'm busy this month with projects, presentations, and papers, I'm not really sure when my next update will be. They're such amazing designers, please do visit. :]




Edit [12.19.09]: I'm not dead! I know it's been over two months since I updated but my winter break is coming up and hopefully, if I'm not swamped with homework, I'll make an update. (: School's been killing me lately. Anyway, once again... I apologize for always making promises I can't keep. I keep saying I'm going to do this and that but never get around to it. School's been absolutely CRAZY. The IB program is pretty tough... and I'm currently taking SAT prep courses after school a few times a week and I also have community service to do so I barely have time to do anything else other than study and sleep. I even have to skip lunch sometimes to get some studying / homework done.

Anyway, I don't have any graphical updates at this time, I've been working on some new designs and other things, but I'm saving them for one big update before my school starts. I start on Sept. 14 which is a lot later then usual. This update is to point out all the improvements I've made on this site and to give a plug to my new affiliates I didn't mention when I added them.

CuteNews is back! I decided to reinstall cutenews because it was the simplest and easiest content manager I've ever used, and also because I finally figured out how to block those annoying bot spams!

I've also updated my credits page, but I mainly would like to point out those who inspired me most and made me push myself to update. Cyndy and May from Koi-Enishi who are also my hostesses has inspired me to make more designs because of their expansion and growth of their talents and network. And Cali from Scarlet Designs. Her designs and motivation to keep her site running has inspired me to do the same for this site. There are a lot of other people who inspire me to keep this site running, but there's just too many to name!

Finally to my new affiliates! I'd like to welcome Ink from Broken Wishes and Kasumi from Hatsuyume Designs! They are both very talented designers and I'm honored to be affiliated with them. ^^ Oh this also reminds me, I've decided to close affiliation applications for now. I think 5 is enough since I'm going back to school soon, I'm barely able to keep up with this site let alone my affiliates!

I guess I should mention, I'm going on vacation this weekend for 7 days. That's why I'm not adding any graphics now and saving them for when I get back. I still haven't finished ALL of my summer readings, but honestly I'm too beat to care too much. ><; I rather enjoy my summer a bit instead of sitting around reading books all day!

Oh! Also, I finally got my POP3 for my new email to work thanks to Cyndy for helping me out. ^^ I'll be using my email under this site form now on. Mya-Sama@heaven-purity.net

[09/07/09 edit] Hey guys, I'm back from my vacation now, I'm settled in and getting ready for school. I know I said I'd put up a graphical update when I come back before school, but something came up. My great hosts Cyndy and May from Koi Enishi is currently in the process of moving to a new server therefore all their hostee's will have to transfer all their files and data onto the new server. I'm not entirely sure WHEN this move will officially take place, but I feel it'd be too much trouble to update NOW and have to move everything shortly after. So I was thinking, while waiting for them to make the final move, I'd hold off on the updates until I finish moving everything to the new server to save time.
