I'm Asian! I can be really nerdy at times and really loud and weird. But I'm mostly shy and quiet around people I never met before. Web designing is a passion / hobby I've been doing since I was 11. I absolutely love maths&sciences, nerdy huh? [; . I'm a perfectionist. I set extremely high standards for myself at everything I do. I can be really annoying because of it sometimes because I'll whine til I get it just right. I love to play maplestory in my free time along with designing. My favorite color is now white & gold-ish yellow. & I'm a true animal lover! (I hardly ever eat meat.)
History
Heaven Purity was once mostly known as HeavenxAngelxDesigns. Hosted by Xanga and known for making Xanga layouts and graphics only. I, Mya, have been web designing for 4 years under a couple different names but mostly HeavenxAngelxDesigns.
After 4 years of using xanga as a web host, I finally thought it was time to move on to a better web host and make layouts and graphics for everywhere, not only xanga. I've learned basically everything about HTML codes and CSS from working on Xanga and friends from Xanga. After a year of just studying HTML and CSS, in Dec `05, I started working with photoshop and graphic designing. Within 2 months or so after I started graphic designing for HAD [[HeavenxAngelxDesigns]] , it has become one of the top 5 most popular xanga sites around. But after Dec `06, HAD's site status dropped dramatically because I had to take a 2 week vacation break with family. In `07 it continued to go all down hill because I never had enough motivation to do a big upgrade.
At the beginning of `08, I've decided to make the biggest upgrade ever. I've moved off Xanga to a regular web host, maintaining all my old layouts and graphics while in the process of creating new ones too.
One day I would like to have my own domain, and host amazing graphics and layouts like Aethereality or Celestial-Star. And in order to do that I have to start somewhere and take the next step up right?
Domain
Heaven has always been my main theme for everything. So of course my domain name had to have heaven somewhere in it. I was going to just stick with Heaven Angel, but when I think about it, my site name should be more general then personal. I thought back and I remember a friend of mine suggested ‘Heaven Purity’ for something. I did a little poll asking which one would be better for my new site, Heaven Angel or Heaven Purity and I got 5 votes for HP and 3 for HA. So therefore I went with HP. It sounds catchy too doesn’t it?
